About Dr. Vos

Author and physician Miriam Vos wants to help her young patients and all families challenged by overweight or obesity. Instead of lecturing anyone, she personifies compassion and common sense—just what all families struggling with the challenges of obesity need. She currently lives, writes, sees patients, runs, and raises backyard chickens in Atlanta, Georgia. She teaches in the Department of Pediatrics, Emory University School of Medicine, and practices at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
